Macadamia White Chocolate Cookies
2 sticks butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
1. In a mixing bowl add flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix together and set aside.

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar & brown sugar.

3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined.

4. Gently stir in flour mixture until thoroughly combined.

5. Stir in white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts.

6. Line baking pan with parchment paper and spoon heaping tablespoons onto pan, leaving 2 inches between cookies.

7. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes and edges are lightly browned. Slightly under baking will give you a chewy cookie!

8. Remove from oven & let cool for several minutes, then remove to cooling rack.

These are my favorite cookies I make at Christmas. We have the same taste.
