Macadamia White Chocolate Cookies

Nothing tastes better than a fresh, still warm homemade cookie! These are easy to make and wonderful to eat. For quite awhile we had a hard time getting Macadamia Nuts. But we found some the other day and my husband was dreaming of these cookies! So I made him some and he was thrilled. Give them a try and see what you think.

Macadamia White Chocolate Cookies

2 sticks butter, at room temperature

1/2 cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp. Vanilla

2-1/2 cups flour

1 tsp. Baking powder

1 tsp. Baking soda

1/2 tsp. Salt

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts

1. In a mixing bowl add flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix together and set aside.

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar & brown sugar.

3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined.

4. Gently stir in flour mixture until thoroughly combined.

5. Stir in white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts.

6. Line baking pan with parchment paper and spoon heaping tablespoons onto pan, leaving 2 inches between cookies.

7. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes and edges are lightly browned. Slightly under baking will give you a chewy cookie!

8. Remove from oven & let cool for several minutes, then remove to cooling rack.

I’m a gal who loves to be in her kitchen cooking! Growing up in a large family allowed for me to begin cooking and baking at a fairly young age. I’m a wife, mother, and nurse.
